Who we are

Hi, I am Kailah Murry. My son is an adult living with autism, and for years I have been in the same place many families find themselves: searching for care you can trust. A school that truly supports. A doctor who communicates well. A dentist who understands fear and sensory overwhelm. A specialist who takes concerns seriously. A lawyer who can help when your child turns 18.

I asked everyone. I researched endlessly. I “interviewed” providers just to feel safe choosing someone. And too often, it felt like I was doing it alone.

If you’ve felt that, too, The Guardians Lighthouse is for you.

At The Guardians Lighthouse, we believe families with special needs and those living with disabilities deserve a trusted place to find help, hope, and community. Every day, more than one in four Americans are directly impacted by disability — and behind every statistic are families, caregivers, and individuals doing their best to navigate a complex world of services and support.

We are building a brighter path forward. The Guardians Lighthouse connects families and caregivers to curated, peer-reviewed, and verified resources designed to make daily life easier, safer, and more supported. Our mission is to shine a light on what is trustworthy and help people find what truly matters — connection, understanding, and access.

We are starting our journey in Kansas City as we grow outward across the United States. Our website is currently in development and businesses can RSVP their directory page today. Together, we are building a network of light, guidance, and belonging for every family.

We are building Guardians Lighthouse in phases. Right now, our focus is on getting the directory fully loaded with high-quality, vetted resources—because the directory is the foundation. Once the listings are in place and organized for easy searching, we will open member sign-ups so families can start accessing the full experience, updates, and added support.

We cannot wait to help you and your loved one live their best life.
