Welcome to the Beginning

I am Dr. Kailah Murry, and I created The Guardians Lighthouse out of both struggle and determination. As a mother of an adult on the autism spectrum, I have spent decades navigating a maze of resources, services, and programs that often fell short. I know the frustration of doors that seemed open but led nowhere, and the exhaustion of constantly advocating for someone you love.

I also bring my own experience as a disabled veteran. After retiring from military service, I discovered that the care I deserved was not always available. I faced gaps in support that left me feeling isolated at a time when I needed guidance, resources, and community the most.

The Guardians Lighthouse is my answer to these challenges. It is a space built for families like mine and for individuals like me—people who are searching for trustworthy, curated resources, who need guidance, and who deserve a community that understands. Our mission is simple but powerful: to connect families and caregivers to vetted, peer-reviewed resources, and to provide a place where you do not have to navigate this journey alone.

This is more than a website. It is a network, a lifeline, and a promise. A promise that no one has to feel lost, unsupported, or alone while seeking the care and services that matter most.
